Future Stars Volley is proud to announce our first Road to NCAA event which will take place at the Brunel University on Saturday 23rd August 2025 from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
In response to the fast growing interest in studying in the USA among the UK based volleyball fraternity Future Stars Volley is organizing event which will clearly map out the route for UK based players to American Educational institutions both in terms of academic and sporting requirements.
Road to NCAA will be spearheaded by two experts in American sporting systems including Matt August, current Head Coach of Odense Volleyball whose playing career includes playing for NCAA Division 1 powerhouse UC Irvine in addition to Black Volley Beskydy in the professional Czech league. Coach August will be supported by Sam Shenton who after playing professionally in France, Sweden, and the Netherlands, became the Head coach at Newcastle University and Newcastle Knights competing in the Super League. Coach Shenton also brings his experience as the Head Coach of the Great Britain U19 National team.
Kai Dugquem will also be bringing his experience as NCAA Division 1 Head coach to the Future Stars Volley ‘Road to NCAA’ event. With expertise in the field of recruitment strategies and scouting of student athletes and analysis of game data, Coach Dugquem alongside Matt August and Sam Shenton are an unrivalled panel of experts in the field for UK based players aiming to continue their athletic and academic careers in the USA College system.

The event is aimed towards 16-19 year old aspiring Volleyball players (male and female) looking for the next steps on how to progress their sporting performance in the NCAA system. The cost of the event is £25.00.
The event is also open for Volleyball Coaches to observe the training sessions, participate in the lectures and
There is also an option for the volleyball coaches to observe the trainings, participate in the lectures. and Q&A session. The cost for the coaches is set at £30,00.
