Future Stars has signed a groundbreaking partnership with the Polish Volleyball Federation geared towards rapid development of junior and grass roots volleyball in the United Kingdom.
The main aspects of the partnership will include frequent and systematic visits of Polish leading volleyball coaches to deliver training camps and consultations for young players in the UK. As part of the partnership Future Stars will organise an international junior tournament where top British players will compete against leading Polish, Belgium, French and Dutch opposition on UK soil. Furthermore, our U18 Future Stars academy team will regularly travel to Poland to compete against leading Polish clubs.
The partnership will ensure that young aspiring volleyball players on our new Future Stars Development Pathway, a unique to the UK integrated educational and sporting programme for year 7 through to sixth form will have regular contact with top European coaches.

Of course, we are not forgetting about the development of British volleyball coaches. Thanks to this partnership we will deliver coaching clinics in London devoted to the most up to date strategies and methods in development of the young talent.
Future Stars President Zbigniew Majewski expressed his satisfaction, stating: “This collaboration with the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) is absolutely groundbreaking for our organization. We operate in one of the most cosmopolitan metropolises in the world, home to a diverse range of nationalities, and volleyball generates enormous interest. Access to Polish coaching and regular collaboration with leading Polish coaches will bring a fundamental change to the operation of our Volleyball Academy. Importantly, we don’t address our offer solely to young Poles living in London. On the contrary, there are a wealth of talented young people from all over the world here, and the PZPS is coming to show us how this sport should truly be organized and treated.”

When asked about this rather unconventional direction of cooperation, PZPS President Sebastian Świderski replied: “Signing a collaboration agreement with Future Stars is another step in the strategy of opening up Polish Volleyball.” To the world. It’s not just our opinion that we are the leader in this sport, but our task, indeed, our obligation, is to share the experience we’ve gained through years of hard work. I’m pleased that the next direction of these activities will be London. Launching the campaign in the capital of a country where volleyball isn’t a leading sport presents us with new challenges. We are ready to rise to this challenge by sharing the knowledge that Polish coaches will bring to the UK – both their invaluable experience and the extensive training resources developed by the association.
